Week 18 ASK!

This week was pretty good. On Saturday it got to 61 degrees outside and we LOVED every minute of it. I was with the Campus Sisters all day cause Sister Vera went to the temple with the K1 sisters. We had so much fun in the sun. :)
We started teaching a members girlfriend and she is super awesome. We were a little worried at first that she was only meeting with us for him but she totally wants to learn for herself. And she knows that she needs to be doing this for herself and not for him. She is super cool! She blocked off the whole month of February so she could come to church with us. And she is fostering her sisters kids a 7 year old a 2 year old and a 5 month old. So she is super busy. But still makes time to meet with us. :) We also have been teaching a 64 year old man

named David who didn't seem all that interested until this week. When he told us that he had been praying to God and God told him that we had the truth and that he needed to come to church. We were shocked it was nothing we did to change his mind. Just the fact that he prayed and asked God and God told him what to do. He even stood up in Priesthood and told everyone that he was going to be a regular here. It was so awesome. :) It's crazy to me how many people are scared to read the Book of Mormon they won't even give it a try. It's so sad! Satan sure knows how to get to people. David one of our investigators told us as soon as he started meeting with us that all of his friends came and told him he shouldn't be meeting with us. But he said that he decided to keep meeting with us and to ask God what he should do. And now he is on track to be Baptized. :) So always ask God questions you have. Questions are good and I know that he will answer us! Love you all!
