Week 58 Happy Halloween!

This week was good! We had a super great lesson with Lois! She is doing so great! I have faith that she is going to make her baptismal date! :)

We did a lot of service this week! Which was fun! 

Our ward also had a trunk or treat and a ton of people came. It was so much fun! They had a pumpkin carving contest and the Elders and Sisters got to judge! My favorite was the Harry Potter one! 

:) 

We also got a call on Friday night asking us if we could speak in church on Sunday! It went really well. :)

Week 57 The Beach and Indexing!

This week was pretty good! I picked up Sister Johnson on Monday, She is pretty cool! So far we are getting along great! 

We did a lot of yard work for people this week which was pretty fun! We also volunteered at the Carousel a couple times and had a blast! 

Also this week we had an indexing night at the church and there were more non-members there than members. So that was super cool. We were able to help a lot of them index!

It also started raining last night and is supposedly going to rain all week so that should be fun! :) 

We went on a hike to the beach this morning! Hopefully yalls enjoy the video! :)

Week 56 Pumpkins and Pizza!

We did a lot of service this week for some of our Catholic friends! It was super fun we helped them some more in their yard! We also had a fun Halloween Relief Society activity where they taught us how to do stage makeup. It was pretty neat! 

We also door knocked quite a bit. People actually answered this time so that was good! :) 

A member took us and the Elders to Silver Beach Pizza. Which is this super big pizza place that everyone here rants and raves about. It was pretty good! 

We had Zone pday this week we carved pumpkins I carved the St. Joe lighthouse it was pretty good! haha And then we had a water balloon fight. And played games! 

T calls were this week! I am staying in St. Joseph and am getting Sister Johnson! She is comps with Sister Cottle in Dewitt right now. Sister Carroll is going to Meridian which is by Lansing! She is super excited! I am going to miss her tons though we have had a blast together!

Week 55 More Fun

This week was pretty good! We had our District Pday on Monday, we went to the church and played games. It was super fun! 

We also had a couple lessons with Lois she is doing great! And is still on date for December 9th. We also had district meeting this week.  We convinced the elders that president was coming. They were so scared! It was quite funny! 

We also dropped by some less actives and they made us pork nuggets. They were pretty good. 

On Wednesday's we have a gospel study class and no one showed up this week so we went and did family history. Which I love doing Family History so it was a blast! 

Thursday we did some service for some non members. It was super fun. We helped them weed their garden and trimmed some trees. They were super grateful and invited us over to dinner. So we are going there tonight. 

We also met with Rolfe this week and got him on date for November 18th. So we are super excited about that! 

We also volunteered at the carousel and they decorated for Halloween so it is super fun! :) 

That's about all for this week! Transfer calls are on Friday! So we are kinda nervous/excited about that! :) 

 I am so grateful to be living in this time with the fullness of the gospel on the earth! I am so grateful for Apostles and Prophets and for the guidance they give us!

Week 54 Conference and Lighthouse

This week was pretty awesome!  We went to the lighthouse and got some pictures! It was super fun. Then we went and got our hair cut at a member in our wards house. (don't worry mom I only got a trim!) And then we went and tried to visit some less active members.

On Tuesday we tried to visit more less active members. We then went and had a lesson with our investigator Lois! We had a really great lesson with her! And we were able to get her on date for December 9th! :) 

Wednesday we had a lesson with Carol. She is one of our investigators. She has a ton of health problems. So we have been trying to do service for her. We also had a gospel study class, no one came so we left and went to the Carousel. They were doing a night of appreciation for the volunteers. It was super fun they had good food. They also had a raffle drawing and Sister Carroll won quite a bit! So now everyone at the Carousel knows us! haha  

Thursday, a pastor who's wife is a member, took us to Burger King. It was super fun! Pretty sure the pastor knows more about the church than I do! haha! He preaches from the Book of Mormon all the time in his sermons. He is pretty stellar! He also gave us conference journals to take notes in.

Also this week we prayed about where we should door knock and we knocked into a lady that we work with at the carousel. What is funny is that we have been running into her everywhere at the grocery store etc. She let us in and we were able to talk to her some more. And are going to go back and help her bottle pears. So that was really cool! 

Friday we had interviews and district meeting in Kalamazoo. Saturday and Sunday we watched conference! It was so good I loved it! One of my favorite talks was by Elder Hallstrom I loved how he talked about faith and what constitutes a miracle. I am so grateful for Prophets and Apostles on the Earth today. And what they teach us!
