Week 75 Lighthouses and floods!

Hey Everyone,
This week was pretty good. We went to the South Haven lighthouse with the Elders on Monday and that was a blast! We got some super cute pictures!
We also had family home evening with some less actives. They took us to Dairy Queen afterwords it was super fun!
We also door knocked a bit. We helped with Family History, made some sugar cookies for some less actives, and volunteered at the carousel!
We also got transfer calls this week and I am headed back to Utah and Sister Christensen is going to train a new missionary! :)
We also went to dinner with the Stouts. They took us to this super yummy Italian restaurant.
Anyways I look forward to seeing you guys soon!
I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve a mission! And all that I have learned from it!
love you all!

Week 74 Hard Work and Miracles!

Hey everyone! This week was so awesome!!!
We picked up a new investigator named Deanna we had a super spirit filled lesson with her about the restoration. When we got to Joseph Smiths first vision she had tears in her eyes. It was so cool, the spirit was so strong!

We also got stuck in the snow on the side of the road. This older lady stopped with a shovel and then a guy with a truck and a trailer also stopped and towed us out. They were super nice and helpful. After that I was like we are calling and getting an equinox cause I am sick of getting stuck. We get so much snow here and that was our second time getting stuck in 3 days. So we traded cars with the Elders in Kalamazoo. :)

We also had Zone Conference this week it was on the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith. It was so good! I got to bear my departing testimony since it was my last Zone Conference.

We found a less active last week who is 85 and lives in a nursing home. She has dementia really bad and doesn't know how she got to Michigan. She hates the snow here and told us the other day " The only thing they can see in Michigan is the snow!" She showed us all these pictures of her giving people blessings so we think she might be RLDS or something. 😐 We also went to the Carousel this week everyone there is so sad that I am leaving! I am so sad too!

Also as many of you know I have served in St. Joe for a while now. And have finally in the past 2 weeks seen the hard work of me and my companions pay off. One of the members we have been working to get to the temple ever since I got here is going in a couple weeks and just got her temple recommend. The members are finally getting excited about missionary work and are finding people for us and the Elders to teach! The ward is also working to get less actives to church and find out where they went. Joe is getting his patriarchal blessing which we have also been working on since I got here. It has been so cool to see the change in the ward! I am so grateful that I am still here to see that change in them!

Anyways I know the gospel is true and that it is the only thing that can bring us lasting happiness! I know that God created families and that we can be with our families forever if we live worthily!
I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve the Lord. And I am grateful for all of the success I have seen. And the blessings that have come from doing so!
I love yalls!  See you soon!

Week 73 Snow Snow Snow!

This week was great! We door knocked some. Stopped by a lot of less actives on our ward list. We found one who lives in a nursing home and is 85 and is in a wheelchair. She has dementia and kept telling us that she wanted to go to Kentucky so she could start a farm. It was pretty funny!
We also went to Silver Beach Pizza with Pat and Marty. Two of the main people over the carousel.
It was super fun! It was great to talk to them more about the church!
We also went and had family home evening with Beth and her daughter Barbara. It was so much fun! :)
Anyways! I hope you all have a great week!
We also got a ton of snow this week it was crazy! Everything was shut down on Friday because of how crazy it was.
Love ya lots!

WEEK 72 Last Fast Sunday!

Hey everyone!
This week was pretty good! We picked up a new investigator named Mitch. He is 24 and is super solid. He had a couple friends in Junior High and High School who were Mormon. He told us how nice they were to everyone and what a great example they were to him. Which is so cool, because those boys in Junior High and High School were kind to everyone. And they didn't know what a great example they were setting for the people around them. :)
We also went to the Carousel this week. Everyone there loves us! They are all so sad that I am going home soon! We have seen so much success from volunteering at the Carousel lately. It has been great! :)
We also had interviews this week! They went well. President told me the schedule for when I am going home. It was pretty crazy!
Anyways love yall!
