Week 66 Merry Christmas!

I hope you all have such a great Christmas and get to remember the Savior and the peace he brings into our lives.

This week we had a multi-zone conference. There were a lot of missionaries there. There were a lot of musical numbers. I played at the conference and wrote my own music so that was fun!

We also had trade-offs with the STL's ( sister training leaders). I was with Sister Larsen she is so fun! She is always super happy and loves to work hard. It was so nice to spend a day with such an uplifting person!

Week 65 Christmas Season!

  This week was pretty great. We volunteered at the Carousel and they put us in charge of throwing snowballs (not actual snowballs) at kids. It was super fun! We also had a really fun white elephant exchange Relief Society Activity. And they also had a Hot Chocolate bar which was yummy! I got a purple makeup set so that was fun. We also made cookies last night with the Witt's. And then we delivered some to a Less Active member that lives by them. So that was a party! 

Anyways I hope you guys all have a great Christmas! Keep lighting the world! 

I am so grateful for this Christmas season and the time we have to remember the birth of Christ. 

I am so grateful for all that Christ has done for me. I know that he is always there for us we just have to turn to him!

Week 64 Snow Storms!

This week was good! We volunteered at the Carousel! It was a lot of fun! We also cleaned the Elders apartment this week while they were out of town because they are moving soon. It was super gross! Sister Johnson also had a cold this week so we stayed inside a lot. We also got quite a bit of snow this week so that is fun! :) 

Anyways Merry Christmas! 

Keep on doing Light the World it is so awesome! And is a great way to serve others this season! :)

Week 63 T calls and Ice Cream!

This week was rough! All of our investigators dropped us. :( So we went from 3 to 0. But life is good cause now we can go finding more and share light the world! :) 

We got our T calls this week and me and Sister Johnson are staying in St. Joseph together! :) I am super excited I really love her! 

We also went to Holland this week for an appointment and so we stopped for lunch at Panda Express. It was so good! 

I also got to see my first sunset on Lake Michigan! It was so pretty! :) 

We got to watch the Christmas devotional last night we were only allowed to watch it if we had an investigator. So we went to the Stouts house and watched it with them. He is a pastor at 2 other churches but he loves our church. It was so cool to watch it with them. :) 

Well I am so grateful for this Christmas season. And for Light the World it is such a great thing!

Week 62 Thanksgiving!

This week was pretty great! Light the World starts this week so we were able to introduce it to people. :) 

The Carousel was super fun this week, they had reindeer come and we got pictures with them. :) We were also the ones in charge of handing people their photos. It was great!

This week we had a lesson with Lois and we ended up dropping her. :( She keeps making excuses on why she can't be baptized. And they aren't good reasons at all! She won't tell us the real problem. :( 

We also saw a less active member named Sister Cox she has some really bad health problems. So we went and visited her in the hospital. She is so sweet! She is always so positive and happy even though she is sick all the time. 

Thanksgiving was also good! We went to the Callahans it was super fun! :) 

Anyways we are doing good! Transfer calls are this week! :) So we are excited about that!

Week 61 St. Joseph *100 days to go! (Mom)*

Hey yalls!

This week was pretty great we picked up 2 new investigators! They are pretty good! 

We also saw Lois this week she is struggling right now. She says she can't get baptized because of her boyfriend Pantre. But that has been her excuse for so long, :( 

We also had tradeoffs on campus this week. That was pretty fun, me and Sister Johnson went to texas roadhouse for dinner before we met the STL's. 

We also had interviews they were really good! And I got a lot of my questions answered! 

Stake Conference was this weekend! So I got to see a lot of people from my first area. Which was super fun! :) 

Anyways, I am so grateful for this gospel! And for Jesus Christ and his Atoning sacrifice for each of us so that we can return to live with him again someday! I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that we will be blessed for reading it each day! :)

 When you find your nickname on a sign!

Week 60 Sick of being Sick!

Well, we literally spent all week in bed being sick. It was not great. When we thought we were better and tried to get out, it all went downhill and we were once again confined to our beds :( darn it. 

We had the elders go see a referral we got, he is now an investigator and he is super solid! What a stellar guy! 

We had an all-mission conference with...... *drum roll*..... President Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles! We all got to shake his hand and everything, it was amazing. The theme ended up being marriage and following the spirit. Things won't work out at all if we don't follow the spirit, nothing will happen if we don't follow his promptings. I felt the spirit so strong listening to Pres Nelson talk. I know that he is called of God and really is meant to be here teaching. I know the apostles go forth and teach one by one just like they did in the New Testament.  

I also cut Sister Johnsons hair this week and did a pretty good job if I say so myself! :)

Week 59 Word of Wisdom!

This week was pretty good! I was sick one day and Sister Johnson was sick another day. So we didn't get a ton of work done but we tried! 

On Monday we got invited over to do family home evening with some members and a recently returning member and her kids who aren't members. Her kids really don't like to listen to us teach so I was trying to think of what I could share with them that would make them want to listen. So right before, I said a silent prayer and asked what I should share. The strippling warriors came to mind so I shared that and the kids loved it. It was a super spiritual lesson. Brother Devries even had real swords he got out and showed the kids. It was so cool! 

We also had Zone Conference this week which is always super uplifting and spiritual! 

Rolfe also lived the Word of Wisdom this week we were super excited about that! And He is coming to church this Sunday! Lois is doing great as well!

Anyways we are doing good! And are having lots of fun!
