Week 71 Bread and Lighthouses!

This week was pretty good! We went door knocking in a small town that hasn't been touched by missionaries in a while! So that was pretty fun! We didn't get antied at all so that was a miracle! Also this week we got my friend that is a non-member to come to the Family History Center. And she loved it and it was a blast!
Our new investigator dropped us this week. :( She got a new job so she is super busy! But that is okay we will find more!
Also miracle for the week Sister Christensen was calling former investigators and I was making food and I was complaining about how we didn't have good bread. And literally 2 minutes later our door bell rings and it was our mail lady and she has 2 loaves of bread for us! She was like you guys just called me and I was listening to your message and I thought I should go introduce myself and bring you some bread! :) And it was cinnamon bread too! Jesus really does love me!!!!
Yesterday we went to the Carousel for a chili cook off dinner that they were having! It was so much fun we got to talk to a lot of non-members and even saw our friend Mary Ann whom we haven't seen in a while! It was so good! And so much fun! :)
Also we saw the outline of Chicago as the sun was setting across Lake Michigan it was so pretty! We were so excited to see it! :)
Anyways love and miss you all!

Week 70 St. Joseph with SV friend!

Hey everyone!
This week was awesome! Me and Sister Christensen are doing great and are having a blast together! We have seen so many miracles! We have seen a ton of success lately! We got 12 potentials this week and one new investigator! We also saw a ton of miracles this week one of them was I felt impressed to invite a lady we met while door knocking to the family history center. And she came the next day and the members helped her a ton. And she loved it!
We also had a lesson with the pastor we are teaching he is doing really good. And knows more about the church than I do. haha
I am super happy to be back in St. Joe! The members missed not having sisters for 2 weeks!
Anyways I am so grateful to be back in St. Joe. We have awesome members here.
Love you all lots!

Week 69 The Final Countdown

Hey everyone,
This week was awesome! I got to see one of my favorite members in Kalamazoo! Rachael and her kids and Jason. They are doing so good! And Serene, Kaid, and Faust even remembered me! Which made me so happy! :) I am going to miss them so much!
I was on the WMU campus again this week! We met a lot of really cool people on campus. I also got to go to my very first area this week, which was how I got to see Rachael! :) While we were door knocking in Kalamazoo we knocked into this lady and she was like are you sure you guys are missionaries. I just took a human trafficking class and they said young people will come to your door and pretend to be from a church. And then she was like well I don't know if you are really missionaries so I am closing the door. It was super funny! Me and Sister Winks just looked at each other and started laughing!
I also got to go serve at Loaves and Fishes. Which I have missed so much!
We also got our Transfer calls this week and I will be staying in St. Joseph! :)
My new companion is Sister Robin Christensen! We were friends in High School so I am super excited! These next 6 weeks should be a ton of fun! :)
Anyways I am so grateful for this gospel in my life! We were able to watch President Monson's funeral this week! And I loved how they reflected on all the good he did! He served everyone he met and loved everyone too! He was such a great example of a true follower of Jesus Christ! My favorite part of the funeral was when they said that we should serve everyone around us! It is so important to help those around us you never know what someone is going through!
Love and miss you all!

Week 68 Western Michigan University

Hey yalls so I am serving on WMU with the STL's for the next week. Then back to St. Joe. (Stevensville)
This week was okay, being emergency transferred was crazy!
We have seen a couple miracles this week. We kept running into a guy from Africa.  We told him that we kept running into him for a reason.  He was like, well if we run into each other again then I will know. So hopefully we will see him soon!

Week 67 Happy New Years!

Hey everyone!
This week was pretty great! It snowed a TON! So they had to cancel church!
We also started teaching Pastor Stout he is super cool! He is so close to being ready to join the church! He just has to retire from his 2 churches!
I also got Emergency transfered today. Sister Johnson is going home because of medical reasons. So I am going to be in Lansing for a couple days. Until President decides what to do with me!
Anyways I love you all! And will let you know what is going to happen soon!
Happy New Years!
